Did you know that water is an essential nutrient?

While it’s always important to drink enough fluids to stay hydrated, this habit becomes especially important in the summertime. It’s hot and sweaty out there, which means our bodies are losing water to keep us cool.

Drinking water when you feel thirsty and consuming beverages at meals are typically enough for adults to stay hydrated, but kids may not realize when they’re thirsty.
