Eating more seafood is one way that you can help improve your diet—and your health. Many of the studies about beneficial omega-3 fatty acids focus on fish as the primary source. Freeze fresh fish immediately if you can’t use it within 2 days. Also make sure you put packages of raw fish in a shallow pan before refrigerating so its juices won’t drip onto other food. Finally, cook fish completely, until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork (145°F).
Keep hot foods hot! Keep soup at 140°F or above until served. If you’re taking it on the road, stash it in an insulated container. Reheating leftovers? You should reheat soup to a rolling boil.

Salmon and tuna give “burger night” a fresh flavor. Use fresh fish steaks to form patties to grill or broil. You can also use canned tuna or salmon for burgers or fish “loaf.” Or, consider a “seafood snack” of tuna or sardines on crackers between meals. 
Make it big on the weekend! Block out a few hours to make a big batch of chili or a hearty soup. When schedules heat up during the week, you and your family can just zap-and-eat.
